"The "Aanii" Anishnaabemowin Project is Sagamok Anishnawbek's commitment to language and culture revitalization. The learner will be given the opportunity to experience Anishnaabemowin through the lens of our community. You will see and hear how the language sounds when it is spoken.

The following medicine wheel features Learning Bird resources related to all aspects of life, Spiritual, Mental/Intellectual, Physical/Body, and Emotional. Click on each link to explore resources that feature Elders from the community sharing their personal stories as it relates to each of the four directions. You will get to hear stories from Patsy Trudeau, Nelson Toulouse, Pauline Toulouse, Marcella Jones, Harvey and Delores Trudeau, Jackie Bob, Eddie Southwind, Leroy Bennett, Robert Sissenah, Harvey Owl, and many more community members and Knowledge Keepers.
