Congratulations to Geoff on his success! What an amazing accomplishment as a first-time scone baker! The Education Department is pleased and proud to have a member of staff show so much interest, and obviously talent, in creating traditional Anishinabek food. Scones are an integral part of many meals, feasts and gatherings.
If you venture up to Fall Harvest this week, hopefully you get to sample the scone made by our local cooks on site. It is tasty!! Pairs well with the ham and homemade soup the cooks prepared for lunch on these fresh fall days.
