On February 13, the Daycare hosted a Family Valentine’s Breakfast prepared entirely in the kitchen on-site by facility Cooks.
The delicious smelling and hearty assortment of breakfast fare - pancakes, sausages, bacon, scrambled and hard-boiled eggs, hashbrowns, toast and toppings - was arranged buffet style in the common area. Family members were invited to bring their child to the buffet to prepare their plates and then proceed to either the toddler or preschooler room to sit with other families at the seasonally decorated, classroom tables.
Many families attended the Valentine’s Breakfast. Positive comments flowed about how nice it was to sit and share a meal and conversation with the other Daycare families, how pretty the rooms and décor looked, and how special it was of Daycare staff to provide this lovely meal and opportunity for togetherness.
